Question of the Day

Is it possible to have any pretensions to intelligence when you've watched Dancing With the Stars twice now?

Yeah.

I thought you'd say that.

In my defense, I watch it after it's aired on the computer (we don't do regular television, just rent a few shows via Netflix or watch via the 'net) and I can't vote. Even for Billy Ray Cyrus who is trying so hard.

Not that I would vote, of course.

Absolutely not.

Oh, just be quiet.

So what you're saying is that *not* voting in our society where voting is a privilege and a civic duty is what makes it less anti-cerebral to wallow in "reality" TV?

mmmm hmmm. Oh--sorry, can't finish this intellectual discussion because we have tickets to the Monster Truck Jam and we don't want to be late or the beer will be sold out!

Uh oh, I really enjoy Dancing with the Stars! I don't vote though. Well, I do vote, just not for dancing stars...although dancing stars are a lovely thought...don't you think?
